Yippee found the photos of my Dad

That is fantastic, you must be over the moon. I only have one photograph of my father taken in his 50's, but thanks to a contact on genes I saw a lovely photograph of his mother taken in 1912 when she was about 25. I had never seen a photograph of her before. Such a thrill when you can actually see them as they were then. Gail. x |

Years ago before I started all this family tree research I remembered seeing some photos of my Dad born 1915 at about 6 months sitting on his Mum's knee and another so clear that you see the photo of his Dad on the locket round his neck. I've been sorting out some boxes in the loft today and I've found them. I am so excited. Can't even remember how they got from my Mum's to here but I don't care. Now I need to find a similar one of my Mum that I can remember. I am on a roll now ...lol....Linda |
