Hello I wonder if some one would PLEASE look for a MARY PICK. age abt 55..b Humby, Lincs...I think she may have been a grocer....and is it possible to check the st, no , I think it would be 90, wesrgate, Grantham, Lincs... On the 1901 census Please.... Thank You for your trouble.....Regards Harold

Would it be this one? Place of birth and residence is Moulton, Lincolnshire but husband is a grocer. 1901 census Village, Moulton, Lincolnshire (No address given but it's next door to the Swan Inn) Alfred G. Pick, head, 50, Postmaster & Grocer, born Stamford Mary B., wife, 56, born Moulton, Lincolnshire Ruth E. Todd, sister-in-law, 63, born Moulton Beatrice Mashford, 18, Assistant in Post Office, born Gosberton, Lincolnshire Sister-in-law, Ruth is married.

You're right, Jeanette. Birthplaces are all wrong, too. Back to the drawing board! They're not at 90 Westgate in 1901. There's another family there. Margaret

I live quite near to Humby.In 1841 when your Mary was born it came under Ropsley for the census. In 1841 there live a Mary Rouse born c 1838,and in 1854 in Bourn(e) Mary Rouse married William Peck Reg Bourne 14/439.Eileen

Eileen again, I have just had a look at Grantham,at no 90 Westgate are John and Mabel Ropson and their two children.I can't find any Picks in the vicinity.

And again, A Mary Jane Pick died in Grantham March 1901 Registered March7a 299 E.
