I have been lucky enough to find a copy of my Great Grandads will at the LMA. I enquired as to the cost and they said an extra £17.50 will be charged if I do this from 'distance'...If I go there myself will I get the copy of the will that day or will I have to order it and go back......Linda

Thanks for that. I have phoned them and they said that I will have to order it and then go back. That will cost me nearly as much as the f£17.50 search fee.. The lady is very kindly sending me a form to fill in and I will order it by post. Thanks a lot Linda

Hi Sue, That is so kind of you but the lady said that I would have to go and order it and then go back another day and collect it. So what with the train fare involved it wouldn't work out much different to paying the search fee. Thanks for your very kind offer though Linda
