I'm trying to find the marriage of Amy Elsmore to George Sedgwick. On the 1891 census George is not married and in the Amy. On the 1901 they are married with a child Beatrice. It states that she was born in Aston, Birmingham. I've sent for George's army records but according to them he is unmarried. I've done all the usual searches but come up with nothing. I have Amy's death certificate which does state she is Amy Sedgwick. Any help would be appreciated.

PM Thanks for getting back to me Ann. My Beatrice is the one born in 1894. The family were living in Aston in Birmingham and Amy would be about 24 years of age. According to the 1901 census she is married to George and living in Aston. I''ve obtained her death certificate and she was born in 1870. She outlived her daughter Beatrice, my grandmother by a year. I''ve come to a complete standstill on this part of my tree which is a shame having only gone back to my gr grandmother. Anyway thanks for your help. **TO ADD A REPLY -Click on your original message Click on add a reply, and type in the white box, scroll down, click on 'add message' Give it a go!
