	Wouldnt have thought so, lots of military personnel were marrying at that time. When you say you 'believe' that to be the date - why is that? Unless its absolutely solid fact, then try years both sides of the expected date. Are you looking through the ancestry full bmd index - its free to search.

Member Since: October 2005 Posts: 23 Send Message	I've been searching for a marriage, believed to be in 1942, where both bride and groom were in the Royal Navy, believed Plymouth. Have looked from 1941 thro to 1944 but found nothing in the marriage registry index. Since they were both in the services and it was war time could it be a different form of registration, anyone know??
