HELP! Can anyone find the date of birth for Elizabeth Purvuer Lord. I have her marriage cert which was in 1872 to Charles William Keat. I think she was born in Westminster, civil parish Paddington abt 1850. Her father was George Lord & mother Elizabeth, whose maiden name could have been Purvuer but not sure. What does 1881 census give as her birthplace? Birth registration wasn't compulsory until 1875.......so be prepared for the possibility of not finding anything. Have you checked the full birth indices on Ancestry? Reg |

This is the parent's marriage: Marriages Sep 1854 Lord George Lambeth 1d 591 Purvaur Elizabeth Lambeth 1d 591 I think this is the one you need. I know it's not Westminster but it's in the same area as the marriage. Births Mar 1851 PURVEAUR Elizabeth Catherine Lambeth 4 315 I can track the Elizabeth here thoughout the censuses so I don't think this one is yours.
