I have just exported my gedcom to my email, but when open it ..it opens it in notepad and its all crammed together and unreadable. What am i doing wrong. Ive looked to see if there is an option to open kit with word or something else, but it doesnt give me any options! Thanks Debbie |

Debbie, as Angela says, to read a Gedcom file, you need to have an offline family tree programme. There are many available, some modestly priced, some expensive and some free. Again as Angela said, there is a free one at the LDS site, www.familysearch.org that can be downloaded. I personnaly use Family tree maker, a modest priced package that does all I need. |
