I assume you've checked the IGI......... You need Parish records for the appropriate church.............these can often be ordered at your nearest LDS centre. Reg |

Hilary Have you tried the latter day saints web site www(.)familysearch(.)org - remove brackets. this site has quite a lot of info prior to 1837. Failing that I think your next step is trying to find out where the parish records would be kept and having a look. |

Thanks for your replies. I have tried Family Search/IGI, I guess now I will have to try the county records office for Essex. Thanks, Hilary |
