Calling all Grandmothers - What?

Hi I`m Nana to my five grandchildren they all call their other grandmothers Grandma so that there is no confusion. Nana!! |

I'm a long way off being a grandmother but I can say:- I had a Nanny and a Nanna My great-grandmother was Gran or Granny My great-great-grandmother was Little Gran (cos she was so short) Dad had a Nan and a Nain My Aunt is Nanny to her baby grandson as Grandma makes her feel old (She's only in her 40's) another aunt is called Nanna 'Name' the same was used for her mother by the child |

Im not a grandmother, but I called my maternal grandmother Nain. (welsh for grandmother) and my children called their grandmothers, nana and nan. |
