would someone be kind enough to check 1871 census if pos RG10/410 Finsbury page 30 Saint Paul , Elizabeth Heritage is given as wife sister , I cannot make out the surname of the head of family. It looks like Louis Ga...? bookseller from ? Many thanks Marie Kent |

Hi Marie, The spelling does look to be GARCKE. So I looked on freebmd and found the marriage of Louisa August GARCKE and Emma Stone Heritage in Sept qtr 1870 Islington. Hope this helps, Joan |
