Don't know whether the local library there would have copies of Brewster Sessions? don't know whether they existed then but in later times licensees had to reapply for their licenses at Brewster Sessions at the local court yearly. Lynne |

Have a google for Victorian Pub Landlords or some such with the area you are interested in. If you know the name of a specific pub just google the name plus something like 'history' In Norfolk there is a Norfolk Pubs site which lists every landlord in pubs back to year d o t virtually. |
