Just a small tip for those who hadn't already thought of it. In some of my research, I have found that parents may have bothered to baptise one child then had numerous others which remained unbaptised. They then waited until they thought the family complete and baptised them all together, with ages ranging up to 18 and beyond. So the tip is, if you can't find a baptism at the time of the child's birth, check for it with later brothers and sisters. |

Thats a good tip Angela and absolutely right. You often find the kids get baptised in a bunch - probably due to something happening in the family to price the parents conscience or a new vicar turning up in the village! |
