There have been several threads about this recently. If you go to the national archive site you will see that they plan to make most of the information from the 1911 census available in 2009. I think it will take that long to set up the website. They say the 1921 census needs a change in the law before they can release it - they don't actually own it. The 1931 census was destroyed in the blitz and the 1941 one was not taken because of the war - back to researching the hard way I am afraid. Anne |
