Teresa With Irish Blood in Me Veins Report 31 Jan 2007 23:28

I have found my Grandfather's death record in 'Pancras' 1958. I know for a fact that he was buried somewhere in London...I thnk my Grandparents were living in Paddington Kilburn or, Holborn. I can't really remember as I was only 10 at the time and I would love to know where he was buried.

My parents and I never went to his funeral as I had an appointment to see a specialist on that day. Mum wouldn't cancel the appointment as she had been waiting 18 months for me to be seen by the specialist....It upsets me even now knowing that Mum had to miss her own father's funeral....

Maybe if you sent for his death certificate it will give you an address where he died then if you look for a cemetery near there that is maybe where he has been buried. That has happened to me a few times. Sue,,

Another angle is to try the local paper. Funeral arrangements are often advertised. The local undertaker might also have a record. Good luck Anne
