Help With A Durham Marriage. Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a marriage of a francis charles cassidy wray to a mary pearson (obtained on further records from Scotlands peaple). The info given was that it occured 24th dec 1893 in howorth (or heworth) county durham. I want to order this cert but can't from gro without reference number. I can't find any record of this marriage on freebmd, ancestry or familysearch. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help will be gratefully received. Regards, Lea

Lea, Did you get the info about the marriage from a Scottish birth cert? Rose

Someone had posted something similar last week I think. They couldn't find the marriage either. Rose

Hi Rose, yes I did get it from a birth record. There is something fishy with this branch of my tree and can't seem to crack it! Regards, Lea
