In my tree there is an O'Dell but the name search won't locate it. I've tried ' and ' any other suggestions? Lucky I remember her husband!

I just put o'dell into the search thing, and it came back with loads of results. Are you sure she's under that, or are you looking on another site?

If you are searching for names you have entered in your own tree, then they will not show up on a tree search by you, only by other people searching. If you want to view it yourself go to 'My Tree Matches' on the left hand side for the screen, then click on the surname you want, it will bring up all those in you tree with that name. Jennifer

Searching in my tree locator and when someone else tried to find her it didn't come up either. I did think originaly I spelt it wrong but have not as I copied it. Have been told its been reported to genes support now.

I have the same problems with a family name - A'Court. I have 234 of them in my tree and navigating my tree is incredibly difficult. I either have to look up under spouse's name or go back generation by generation to find the one I'm looking for. I've twice asked the genes support people for an answer to this problem - but never had a reply.
