Hello Oc I havn't got her fathers name on a bap, someone who was going to Sunderland did have a look at record office put could not find it. |

What is her father's name at baptism? Euphemia was often shortened to Phemie - 'Fee me' and might have been misheard by the Registrar or Vicar as Phoebe. OC |

I have been given some information and I am just checking this out. I have Euphemia Mitchel christened Nov 30th 1810 in Sunderland. I have her marriage certificate which states her name is Phoebe and it says father is called Hugh Mitchel. Well I can't find this any where can anyone help me please. Sue |
