Heather it was on a page in the 1841 census, and it was just a normal street census. It was a woman. It also appeared on an a street 1871 census, but the person in question was also listed as an 'imbecile' which is explainable but it doesn't explain about the woman. Carole |

What was the particular page? Not a workhouse or something? Ive only seen that sort of thing on a hospital or workhouse? On normal pages you either get a job listed or nowt or something like independent or own means. 'No trade' smacks of some sort of institution?? |

Does anyone know why in the profession section it sometimes is left blank and other times it has 'No Trade' written in? I've noticed this happening on the same page. Carole |
