Another good site for Mining Accidents is http://www.cmhrc(.)pwp.blueyonder(.)co(.)uk/ Don't forget to remove the brackets ( ) Newspapers often give whole inquest reports. I got one for my g grandfather who was killed in a mine in 1866. Daphne |

Try the Black Sheep website. It has details of mining accidents. Just google Black Sheep for the web address. UPDATE - I've had a look on the site and he IS mentioned on there. The accident was at Carr House, Rotherham, so it must be him. You will be able to send away for the report - although I must warn that sometimes there isn't much to the reports. I got more information on my grandfather from a newspaper report of his inquest. Kath. x |
