Hi all Im trying to trace my family tree. My Grt Grandmother Nora Jefferys born around 1889 married Thomas Johnson, she was originally from the Newcastle area ( around Scottie Road we think??) but moved down to Millon Cumbria.They had several children together: Ronnie Johnson - Married- Ruby(?). Thomas Johnson - Married- Eva Haston. William Johnson - Married Ruby (?) - his brother Ronnies ex-wife. Robert Johnson - Married Janet (possablily Donague?). Lesley Johnson, & Arthur Johnson We think that there were other siblings, but do not know there names. After my Grt Grandfather died, my Grt Grandmother Nora re- married to someone ' Fallows' they had a daughter together named Mary but she drowned at the age of 19 in an accident out Haverigg beach. Perhaps this is her birth? Births Dec 1892 Jeffrey Norah Helen M S Shields 10a 777 Although she married Ernest Martin. This one seems a bit late: Births Mar 1901 Jeffrey Nora Elizabeth Newcastle T. 10b 10 Rose

I don't see Nora on any censuses. Rose

I have tryed Ancestry, but I cant find anything on any of them!! Nora Gefferys, Thomas Johnson Or there children: Ronnie, Thomas, William, Robert, Lesley, Arthur. Its like they never exsisted??

Which one of the children are you related to? Perhaps we can find his birth or death? Rose

Thomas Johnson was my grandad Born around 1915 in Newcastle. his fathers name was also Thomas Johnson born somewhere around 1890ish also in Newcastle he married Nora Gefferys born around 1890ish in newcastle also we think?

My grandad married Eva Hasten

he died around 1982 not sure of exact date but he did die in Essex I know he is crimated in Hornchurch crematorial. Excuse bad spelling!

Do you know when his birthday was? I mean what day it was on? There are several deaths for Essex in 1982. Rose

I dont Im afraid but I Live in essex so i will take a drive to the crem tomorrow or monday and look through there records I think that might be the only solution at the mo.
