i been trying to find my partners dad ,i had informatin that he has died how do i go onto death recors if im not sure where or what year i no it got to be from 68 to present tryed annestery but nothing comming up ?

Have you viewed the images on Ancestry? Or only looked at the transcribed records? 1984-2004 are transcribed........earlier ones require you to register with the site, and access the full records. Reg

Have you tried to trace him as a living person? The website 192 is worth looking at..........or BT, if you know where he might be based......... Reg

yes i did find his birth cert ect my grandparents ect...after months because he was born in scotland then (dont want to say who )said they found him the obit even gave me part of the mess but didnt tell me where or what year i no my mum da got devorced in 1968 so had to be after that tryed some bmd sites ,but not very gd with things like this (dont really want pay this person all this money)if can do it myself thanks for your replies

i honestly dont no all my father side the wilson are from there ?paisley so i did wonder when my parents got devorced if he went bk up there

thanks his name was harry barclay wilson 17th june 1944 born in paisley

Richard I have checked the death records in England & Wales between 1968-2004 & I cant see a death For a Harry Wilson born 1944. If he died in Scotland you will need to contact the GRO in Edinburgh.
