Am thinking of Buying the NBI 2 4 disk edition and just wondered if anyone can tell me if they have found it useful or not. Have got ancestors to trace all over the country and coverage seems pretty widespread. Would love your views. Sarah |

I have not had much success with requests to people that own the discs in finding details of death of my ancestors, perhaps others have been lucky. Regards Irene |

It really depends on which counties you want to look in - I found it very useful for ancestors and family buried in Somerset, Berkshire and West Yorkshire. There are practically no listings for Devon or Hampshire or London. Most are in the early part of the 19th century, many prior to 1837, but occaisionally a parish goes well into the 20th century. It only lists name and age, where given, and place of burial - and when there are several people of the same name, there is no way to tell who is whom. If you are searching in a small town with a distinct family name it can be very helpful Diane |
