I am trying to find any info about my g grandfather and mother. Only thing is don't have much to go on. this is what i do know. GGF Name: Robert Jones (Est DOB 1880??) Married 1911 in Chester GGM Name: Hannah Jones (Nee Davies) Had 2 sisters called gladys & Katie (Catherine ?) Children: Raymond Jones Reginald william Jones (DOB 1921) My GD born in Rockferry married Leah Jewell in 1944 in cardiff Derek Jones Lillian Jones ( Married Jack Conyard) Any Help gratefully received. Hi Susan Do you have your grandparents marriage certificate, this will give father's names and occupations. Robert Jones 1911, Q1 Chester 8a 565 Hannah Davies Gail. |

Gail has kindly looked up the reference for the GRO - go to GRO online and order the certificate using the information she gave you - it will cost £7 and will give both fathers names, occupations of fathers and the couple marrying, address, age of couple, witnesses. |

Many thanks folks taken your advice and ordered the marriage certificate. Very excited now and can't wait for it to come so I can carry on researching. Thanks again sue |
