can anyone help me to find which church someone born in Newcastle in the Haymarket area was likely to have been baptised at between 1929/30.I think theywere methodists I am trying to find the birth or death of a Rose Bell who was born in Newcastle and died of diptheria when she was a few months old. Her mother was named Anne/ Nan Bell. I cant find her in the BMD indexes |

Yes. I have traced my mothers half brother who was born in Dec 1930 he told mum that his mother had another daughter named Rose but she had died. He thought it was before he was born. My mother was born in August 1928 so there was not much of a gap to look for Roses birth but cannot trace her |

well looked from 1928 to 1933 and the only birth i could find was for a Rosemary bell ,mother Bell, Mar 1933 Knaresbro 9c 131. Bit far from Newcastle and i couldnt see a death from then to 1935 for the same name. So it would seem your mums half brother 's memory may be a bit out |
