Assuming he did not change his name, you could look for the death and get the death certificate, which will give you the informant. It will alos give you an area for which you could check the electoral roll -though that is quite a search. Jim

Hi Alas, this wouldn't help me! After my Gt Grandmother died in 1912 'apparently' Gt Granddad ran off with another woman and neither my Nan or her two siblings ever saw him again! I 'think' Nan said it was a female cousin but I can't be sure! I've often wondered what became of him. I guess I have to wait for the 1921 census to be released! OR can anybody suggest an alternative method of tracking him down? Lyndsey
