I was amazed to get an email from GR tonight at 23:01 advertising this programme which was a bit stupid as it was on earlier tonight. Thought there were more adverts than usually when the programme was on. Maureen

Looking at GR's advert for 'You dont know youre born', I clicked on the link to find out more, thinking it'd be a brief outline of the programme. Instead, up came 'Watch our sponsorship ad's!' Do they think of nothing but money?

There was a thread on General Board about it. Not a bad programme - different in that she tried out the work that her grandfathers had done - short on research side of things. Maureen

Me too. Was it any good? Have missed it now, wish they'd sent the email earlier.

I thought it was hilarious - not only did they find her ggf in Irish records, they identified the exact field that he had ploughed and they even found his plough!!! I don't know what's wrong with all you lot who can't find any record of your Irish ancestors, lol. OC
