Hi David, try looking in the local paper in 1984 for his death announcement, it should have the church and possible funeral arrangments, also the funeral directors. Best of luck. Polly |

I was speaking to someone today, who wanted to trace the burial place of his father. His parents divorced when he was a child, and had little or no contact with his father. His father was Jim Roberts who died on 30 July 1984 in Whit & Tank (Whitstable and Tankerton Hospital) He has tried all the churches in the area to see if they had records of the burial and also cemetaries in Whitstable Herne Bay, Canterbury and even Ashford, without sucess. He does not believe his father was cremated. Does anyone have any ideas how he may trace his father's grave, plese? Regards David |
