This site is well worth a look if you have relatives in London from about 1680 to 1835. I have two relatives named as victims/witnesses rather than criminals - for example Thomas Gowing in 1817 is described as a baker and cornchandler with an address in Cuizons Mews, Chelseacommon. Invaluable in narrowing down his move from Suffolk to London, and nearly as good as a census entry...... Peter |
