Desperately Seeking Can I ask you what prompted you to post this thread, please? Have you used an auto reply or something - I am interested, because all the headers concerning this petition have exactly the same wording. OC

Hi OC Think this is taken from the Downing Street website, where you can create an online petition about anything you choose. It's a new feature started in November, 2006. Kath. x

Kathleen I know about the online petition facilty - just curious to know why at least 30 people have posted this thread with virtually the same wording - it sounds like an auto 'send this message to a friend' type thingy. I am trying to find out whether all the posts are genuine, not spam, but not one poster of the 30 or so threads has come back to answer my question. Rather curious, don't you think? I do not recognise any of the poster's names. OC
