How do you order relatives on Gedcom file?

Member Since: June 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	My gedcom file is exported from Legacy to GR... I am starting to suspect that the reason is the RIN number which legacy applies these can be reordered but only if you have the paid for version of the software... Has anyone had a similar problem..?

	The gedcom file you mention, is it an export from GR to your genealogy programme or an export from your programme to GR? If your tree on GR is opening on the wrong perSon you need to contact GR.

Member Since: June 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	This seems to be an obvious question ...? Sorry about that, but I am struggling to get my tree details appearing the way that most others have ... That is ,the first name that appears on their tree on GR etc. is their own name ... For some reason my tree starts with the first alphabetic surname(Allardyce in my case who happens to be a very distant relative)....I use Legacy to keep track of my tree and produce the Gedcom files for upload. Any suggestions welcome.
