I've been asking my gran about our family history, and she told me one of her aunts was sent off to live in New Zealand or Australia for being pregnant while not married. Any ideas on how I'd find out more about her? I've tried searching passenger lists on a couple of geneology sites and I can't find her. She might have got married before emmigrating, but I can't find a marriage record for her. Any ideas? Thanks, Fiona |

If its not too personal, you could put her name on here and someone may be able to help. Ensure her name is on your tree too, so GR members who match can contact you. Curious Fox and Cousins Connect are free to post on. Your ancestor may have kept in touch with 1 or 2 members of her family; does your gran have any siblings alive who may have any memories of her? |

Her name was Annie Bristow, born c.1876. Apparantly my gran's mother was the only one who kept in contact with her sister, but that's all we know. |
