Hi, try the Mersey Times website - it has all kinds of interesting bits and pieces - just type Mersey Times into google and it will find it. Best of luck Maria

You might find something on the access to archives site. I found the bill of cost for one relative . Just put his name in the search engine and I would think Lancashire records office in area bit. change stars for dots http://www*a2a*org*uk/default*asp Germaine x

Hi I would Google (search the internet) with the info you have got... Walton+Prison+Merseyside+convictions or similar. often there will be links to sites that have been transcribed by someone else, like your self, who had a relative in the prison. Email or call the Library for the area, Liverpool? maybe they have these records. Or possibly refer you onto someone who does. apart from that, have you looked at eBay? last time I was on there, I'm sure I saw CD's for sale relating to prisoners. wish I were more help, Babz
