Hi I am searching for Edward Threlfall but on his marriage certificate and some census it is down as Trelford. All the censuses show that he was born around 1831 in Bury, Lancashire. When he married in 1853 he was living in Pendleton, Salford and where they are in later censuses. From his marriage certificate i know that his father's name is James - a labourer. Thanks |

Hi I have been trying to trace some of my ancestors on the earlier censuses I know from certificates etc that the family were living in Pendleton, Salford, Lancashire but I can't seem to find any records for this area. I have the problem of their surname being spelt different on the most records but can usually narrow search results by the area but Pendleton does not come up - is it under a different name for 1841 - 51?? Is there any website that has complete records for this area?? Thanks for the help Karen |
