I'm afraid that only applies to pre 1920 records - Royal Marine records are not in National Archives if a person served after 1922. You should apply to Ministry of Defence, Royal Marines Drafting and Record Office, Centurion Building, HMSultan, Grange Road, Gosport, Hants, PO13 9XA. Ask for an information pack and application form. They will tell you all the documents you need to attach to your application. Regards Keith |

Can some kind person please remind me of the web address where I can find UK millitary records, in particular the Royal Marines. Is it the National Archives? |
