There is an advert on here for some people that sounds like an alarm clock or similar so it could well be that then

It is coming thro the speakers, No modem, I am on broadband. I hadn't thought of an advert. I am not sure if I was on this site each time it happened, certainly was the last couple of times. There is no pop up message with it as far as I have noticed.

For the last 3 days or so, my PC has been making noises like a telephone ringing. It rings about six times, then a few seconds later a shorter single ring. Anyone any idea what this is? Thanks David
