Hi Gail The Chesterfield library used to hold a comprehensive family tree of George Stephenson compiled by a gentleman called Mr Roper.On a visit there a few years ago they were happy to do photo copies of the several sheets it covered.It proved my ancestors from Newcastle were not connected!
