Best thing to do is find living ancestors of his through the search facility of GR or Curious Fox, then ask them. |

my family didnt like him so they wont say anything,all we got was he was from manchester or bristol,and he was a few yrs old then our mum.and that was that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Hi Tanya Have just searched Ancestry BMD's for birth from 1945 - 1950, sorry can't see any that 'fit' - can you tie the date down a bit - you say he was 'older than our mum' - when was she born, and what is her connection with him - the family relationships aren't very clear. regards Looby |

he is our real dad,our mum was born in 1949 and in the photo i got of him he looks a few yrs old.dont know any of his side. |

Hi Tanya You say he is your 'real' Dad - was your Mum ever married to him, and is so, do you have a copy of their marriage cert? This should help you tie down his birth year a bit more accurately and it should also give you his father's name and occupation. Can't be much more help at the moment I'm afraid. Looby |

THEY WASNT MARRIED,MY BROTHER GOT COLIN MITCHELL ON HIS BIRTH CERT WHICH WAS MY MUMS MARRIED NAME BEFORE SHE MET COLIN,AND ME AND MY SIS HAS GOT FATHER UNKNOWN ON OURS. |
