I'm a bit stuck really! I'm working on the English side of my family and thats fine, more or less back to 1800-ish and all is lovely and fine etc etc BUT Completely stuck on where to start with the Irish contingent!!! My Dad was born in Ireland, I know where and I know where my Grandmother and Father where born. Apart from that I have no idea where I can get the info on them to order certificates etc and if there was any kind of census done in Southern Ireland / Eire like the English and Welsh ones???? Anyone got any tips that I can use please please pretty please? |

There are always problems when it comes to tracing people in Ireland. All I can suggest is typing in keywords on this board and trawling through all the results as there are loads of threads about it. It's a long and boring process when it comes to Ireland I'm afraid so be prepared!! Good luck. May the force be with you!!!!!!! |
