If you have a full date of birth, you should be able to buy a cert from the Irish GRO - just google for the website. |

Any Help With Irish Look Ups...? dont know if any one can help with this one..... my Paternal Grandfather Peter Callaghan/Callahan/calahan/callan(any variation) Dob 02/04/1919 Co Armagh Northern Ireland he left Ireland approc 1933 aged 14 and changed his name to O'Callaghan ......his birth cert was found when he died which is how we know he doctored his birth cert and also ripped of his parents bits....prob so he could not be traced. the said birth cert has since been lost...he died 25 years agoand iwas only young so donot remember what was really on it. his mother died when he was a baby and he was the youngest of 6...or so he said and was born into a workhouse in armagh any help would be appreciated regards michelle |
