Can someone please explain? why when I put complete details in complete BMD index e.g. Name, Qtr, and year It shows nothing at all for it:- Margaret Smith born Aug 1919 in Whitehaven Cumberland, married 23/12/1942 in Whitehaven Cumberland. Also Sarah Jane Smith born Nov 1929 in Whitehaven Cumberland. Any help in where I am going wrong or tips on how to overcome it would be helpful. |

Hi They do say that 'Approximately 50% of the names between 1837 and 1900 have been transcribed thus far' so perhaps the ones you are looking for have not been? best wishes in your hunting anyway . |
