I have just downloaded the AVG Internet Security Program from Grisoft(.)com and am trying to install it on my computer, but it is asking for a license number before I can go any further. There was no part of the download that asked for my email address to send me a license number. What can I do? Did I download the right one?

Margaret, where did you download it from? Was it www.Free.grisoft(.)com or www.grisoft(.)com ? If the later, that will be the paid for version, you need to download from free.grisoft. Hope this helps

Oh shoot Keith - downloaded from the wrong site - worst part is I had to do it twice as I wiped the first download out at 82%..... Have to go out now, but will try the other site when I return - will let you know how I make out.

I am back - it worked beautifully when I downloaded the right one!!! Now I just have a problem stemming from deleting the Norton/Symantec programs - I may have inadvertantly deleted something I shouldn't. I'll save that problem for tomorrow ......
