Looking for the year of death of Wilfred Joseph Anscombe born 1901 at Wisborough Green and Buried Wisborough Green but has no Head Stone .Have looked on bmd and anstery but cannot find him. Any idea's or help Many thanks |

Because he was my Nans brother and he is buried next to his parents ,and i have laid flowers there .they could not afford a headstone,Sadly my Nan died before i started my family tree so i could not ask her . |

Ok then Carole I think your quickest way would be to contact the local council department that is in charge of that cemetery. If you can give them the details from your great Grandparents headstone, they may be able to use the plot numbers to discover when the burial took place. They may make a charge for this though.....some do, some don't! Jeanette x |
