James, thanks for the link, but all I can see is the pre-amble and breakdown (preface). Am I missing something or are there supposed to be completed census transcripts?

Hey Keith As far as i'm aware for census from 1841 (and before?) to 1891 where all destroyed by the government after they had all the information they wanted - population ect. A few bits survive though if you google. The pages from the link above just seem to be that information - population, farming area ect Mhairi

Thanks Mhairi, Jim has altered his thread title since first posting, had the impression it was the census images. Keith
