Reggie, thanks, i did try that and couldn't find her, but somebody else suggested her name to me and her Nightingale connections. i can only assume that she has not originated any threads. Ann Glos

I have been told you are researching Nightingales in Derbyshire........... have you come across either a Ellen(Helen) Nightingale born c1805, parents possibly William Nightingale and Elizabeth.....Belper area........ Or her sister Lydia Nightingale parents William Nightingale and Mary? Ann Glos
