Hi, I am trying to trace the parents of my Grandfather Thomas Jones who lived in Birkenhead. I have his marriage certificate which says occupation Boiler cleaner, he was 20 and a bachelor when married on 6th November 1910 to Mary Louisa Bellis. From the certificate his Father's name was Thomas Jones (D'ecd) occupation Turner. The witnesses to the marriage were Martha Ellen Morton and Charles Morton who were Mary Louisa's Sister and husband. The address was 17 Hinson Street for both bride and groom. Family fumour has it tha Thomas (Jnr) was born on 10th March in North Wales, possibly Clynnog. I have found quite a few Thomas Jones's bornin North Wales and Birkenhead. I tried the 1901 census both in Birkenhead and North Wales in the hope that i could find a Thomas father and son with the child at the correct age and there are even multiples of those. How do i know which one is mine!!!? Please excuse slow replies as I am in Australia and the time difference might get in the way a bit.
