Hello everyone Can someone please let me know how to reply to message's on the tip's board. I posted a message the other day which read, BRICK WALL, people were kind enough to get back to me with there idea's but when I tried to get back to them a message came up saying that I had already been in touch with this member and I was unable to make further contact with them. I have noticed that some member's have ongoing contact between each other, how do you do it ? as I do not want people to think I am beeing rude by not makeing further contact. I do hope this all make's sence. Thank You Len |

To respond to a thread, look at the row of options above the main message box............to the right is 'add reply'.........just click on that and post your message in the box which comes up. I have just done precisely that............ Reg |

I think you are talking about private messages? If you have already messaged someone, the next time you do, it will give you a helpful little reminder that you have already been in contact with this person. Ignore that and write your message in the normal way. However, can I just say - if people have helped you on a thread, then it is considered good board etiquette to put all your replies and comments on that thread, so that other people who have helped, or wish to help, are up to speed with what is going on. The exception to this is of course, if you are discussing sensitive matters, or those which require revealing details of living people - that is best done off the public boards. Hope this helps. OC |
