I asked this question a few weeks ago but just nudging it forward again Any more ideas anyone? I have found details of an old will dispute in my family, dating from 1873 to 1879 in Glamorgan, South Wales. The estate of my gr-gr grandfather went into the Chancery Courts for several years (not as many as Jarndyce and Jarndyce though!!) before all his lands and property were auctioned off to pay debts. I have a copy of his original will, before proceedings started against it. Does anyone know if there would still be a record of this whole dispute buried in a dusty old court archive somewhere? I'd be really interested to find out exactly what happened. Thanks!

Google The National Archives at Kew for more information on Chancery Reecords as all the records are at TNA .Their 'Ancestors' magazine had a long article on this within the last six months. Janet
