would it be possible for someone to have a look around for me or if anyone knows with the help of this... im trying to find hodson connection to go further back than this... Frederick hodson ... married jane kellett (preston lancashire) they had two children who were..... Frederick hodson born around 1923 robert hodson born around 1922 or 1924 both children born in preston. the info i know is my great grandfather Frederick was in the war.. he fought in france.. he died before 1945.... my grandmother jane died before 1945 also. (as my grandfather was married in 1945 and both were deceased then. both are burried in the preston cemetry. later in years my grandfather and great uncle moved to australia (where i live now) and continued there family there. there 2 sons were both born in preston lancashire also. please any information u may have on either hodson preferably my great grand father frederick that married jane that would be great. did he have brothers and sisters? what were his parents names and last names and maiden names.. thankyou to any one who can take the time to have a look for me as it is hard when i am in australia. kindest regards jodie strickland

Hi Jodie, Had a quick look on Ancestry at the 1901 census and found 17 Frederick Hodsons in Lancashire! 3 of them may be the right age, and found in Preston; 1. Born 1898, parents George & Sarah, 2 siblings. 2. Born 1892, parents Robert & Henrietta, 7 siblings. 3. Born 1896, mother Ann Eliza, 4 siblings. Do you have any more clues? Regards, Hilary
