If she didnt have any relatives or they had no money then she may have been buried in the workhouse grounds in an unmarked grave. People were often only in the workhouse Infirmary cos that was a hospital for those that couldnt afford private care. She may not have been an inmate of the Workhouse as such. Shirley |

From what we have seen in the cases of some of our ancestors, burial in common graves were much more common than one would think, even when it appears the relict was quite well off. Keith |
