That could very well be a possability OC. Still, I thought it better to report just in case.

Liesele It may just be that he has no social graces and does not realise how sinister his approach might seem. There are one or two on here who do not seem to realise this fact too, judging by some of the odder postings we have had lately. OC

Beats me Maggie, I've not married before. I've now reported this to the abuse manager and await their reply.

Why would he want your married name??

It is possible he is genuine but I wouldn't take any risks. I had a similar message a year ago i.e. 'Give me your details and I will try to help' I deleted it and never heard from him again.

Recently was contacted by a GR member concerning my relative Walter Hammond Hensby. His message read as follows: I have been losing contact with my hotmatches so I will give you permission to read my tree however I cannot promise any real information. ***************** When viewed his tree did find it odd that he didn't have any Hensby's in his tree. Co-incidentally I have rellies in my tree with the same family surname as his and replied that I was mystified as to why he contacted me, couldnt see any connections between our trees, my rellies with same surname were from different areas as his, and required clarification in case I had missed something. Today I get another message: Please send me your full married and maiden names I will try to help if I can. **************** I am very suspicious of this new contact why would he want my full married and maiden names, bearing in mind that I didn't contact him about my rellie for any help. Does sound a bit wacko to me. Should this type of behaviour be reported to the GR team?
